AstraZeneca Annual Report

A contractual based project where an online micro site of the AstraZeneca Annual Report was to be built and represented to match the print report as closely as possible.

On this project, I was part of the team that developed the final site using CSS, XHTML, Photoshop, Search Engine Optimisation and Accessibility techniques and practices.

Haymarket Business Subscriptions

Haymarket Business Subscriptions wanted a complete site re-design which would account for more business subscriptions signups, and improvement to the search engine rankings, as well as usability of the site.

On this project I was lead UI developer, and was in charge of all front end development of the site, including standard practices and use of XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Accessibility, Usability, SEO, JQuery and XSL.

Another contractual based project where an online presence of the Heineken Annual Report was to be built and represented to match the print report as closely as possible.

MIMS Pharmaceutical Database

The MIMS team wanted a full site which would be independent to its sister website Health Care Republic. A design and build was proposed to improve the search engine rankings, the online drug search database, and the usability of the site.

On this project I was lead UI developer, and was in charge of all front end development of the site, as well as managing the UI team for this project. Standard practices included the use of XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Accessibility, Usability, SEO, JQuery and JavaScript.

QVC Logo

QVC UK

The QVC UK site had been online for 10+ years, and it was my role as the lead front end developer in the company to take on board all front end projects for the site, to modernise it for SEO purposes, meet accessibility guidelines, and ensure that all coding practices for the site were adhered to going forward.

Main projects within this site included three redesigns of the homepage, a tv guide redesign and build, product detail redesign and build, brandshop templates and build.

As sole front end developer, I was in charge of establishing and carrying through web standard practices for the QVC UK website, which included the use of XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Accessibility, Usability, SEO, JQuery and JavaScript.

QVC On Demand

As an extension off of the QVC UK website, the business wanted to create an video on demand platform that would take past videos and presentations onto a separate web site for customers to view.

On this project I was lead UI developer, worked with the design and back end team to integrate the BrightCove videos into this site.. Standard practices included the use of XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Accessibility, Usability, SEO, and JavaScript.
