The UK has never really been a country that has a lot of snow, but woke up this morning and saw my back garden was all pretty and white!!!
It looks so peaceful outside, so I hate to think how much chaos this is causing on the trains, tubes and roads.
Hopefully it’ll stay like this for a while as I hate the thought of black ice, and much prefer the idea of snow angels and snow men!!! (Tis the inner child in me coming out!)

I’m normally a canon loyalty, but lenses just seem to be a real hefty purchase under their brand; particularly if you live in the UK. And so I’ve just spent the last few weeks trying to scope out places to get something which is just as good for less.
Thanks to the photo geeks at flickr who helped me choose a wide angle lens for my camera. I decided to go with the Tokina 12-24mm, and have just got one ordered, so will be happily snapping away in no time soon!!!

I’ve always found it a pain in the arse to organise events with people, trying to reschedule dates, communicate with who is free and when…so its a relief to hear about evite.Â
A lot of my friends are taking this site on for event planning for birthdays, leaving do’s and general event organising. This particular one I found to be hilarious:

Its just dawned on me that I haven’t actually updated anything on this blog for a month.
Belated Happy New Year to all…I assume all resolutions have gone out of the window already, as mine had after two days!
But to start off my first post for the new year, the vivabit guys are back with @media2007. This time its global, hitting up the US, Hong Kong and London town!
I’m not sure if I’m definitely going just yet, but hopefully will be…it looks like it could be a gooden!!!

JPG Magazine is the fab magazine which allows amateur photographers the chance to share their photos with others, and get their photos voted by Joe Public, in the hope of getting published in future issues.
Its a great step up from flickr for those that want to see photos falling under particular themes.
Its only recently that I’ve gotten back into photography, and judging by some of the work thats on this site, I need to get my arse in gear!
The only downside in my opinion is that the photos you submit can only be a minimum of 2200 pixels in height or width; which is great for large prints, but annoying as I can’t include photos from my travels last year due to my Canon Ixus 330 maximum of 2megapixels!
I’ve placed a few of my fave photos up on there so enjoy!
