Hey there,

Thanks for your interest in the workshop. It's filling up pretty fast - about 8 seats left.

We focus on bringing the world's top talent to teach web dev and design courses. This is why we're working with Dave - he's one of the best.

We also work quite hard at making it more than just a training day. There's a lot of social interaction which adds tons of value to the day.

On top of that, the Survival Kit is *packed* with valuable stuff.

Hope that helps you make up your mind :)

I would wait for the GBDirect course. I can totally recommend Dave Shea, however you'll find that a large amout of your time is spent fixing browser incompatibility issues, so the GBDirect would seem a better choice.

I wouldn't worry too much about IE 5 for Mac. MS doesn't support this browser anymore and I have only come across one mac person in the past two years that actually still uses this browser, everyone else has moved on to Safari or Firefox (both in my case). Its so slow and bad at rendering standards compliant layouts that I know of quite a few big name web developers that refuse to support it. I've relegated it to the same class of browsers are the pre 4.0 family.
