Swotting up!
So after a month of applying, I’ve landed myself a new job, and start in a couple of weeks…but its suddenly dawned on me that I’ve got to seriously brush up on the daily ins and outs of coding, the web, usability, accessibility, design and all that jazz.
That’s why I’ve taken it upon myself to read books eg:
- Bulletproof Web Design (D. Cederholm)
- Designing with Web Standards (J. Zeldman)
- the Zen of CSS design - visual enlightenment for the web (D. Shea & M. E. Holzschlag)
- Web Standards Solutions - The Markup and Style Handbook (D. Cederholm)
And add a bunch of links to the right here…but whew…my brain can only absorb so much…however, any other recommendations for links or books would be greatly appreciated.
For those that maybe interested, there’s a CSS workshop on the 18th November so go check it out!
