Happy new year!!!

2010 done. 2011 started!

I’m a sucker for the firework displays that take place globally when new year hits each country, and while I’m always keen to see what Sydney has to offer, I have to say that this years fireworks in London this time round were pretty awesome.

The music with the display was a nice touch.

Debates on whether the approximated £1.8m spend can be justified have been floating around, especially with the times of a financial crisis, increasing student fees and cut backs, but meh…for me I like a good piece of entertainment, and for me, I was entertained this year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR folks.

Looking back, moving forward

So after neglecting my blog for the last year or so, and with it being the new year in a few days, I thought I’d be out with the old blog and in with a new one.

I always try and see where I am at the end of a year. See what I’ve done, what I’ve accomplished, what I’ve learned, and where that leaves me moving forward.

This time last year, I was managing people in my job, I was living at my parents place, I was trying to save money (story of my life), and I was at a point of trying to reevaluate what was important to me.
